Hi,
I have started using Whisher a while ago. Actually about a few days ago. It worked fine, I had a wireless acces point and I connected to it with the WPA key I gave it. Then a while later I gave it a WEP key so I could connect with my Nintendo DS. Since then I have not been able to connect. It keeps saying the owner has disables Public acces. I am indeed the owner, but I cannot sign in to Whisher so I cannot prove I am the owner of this acces point. How can I fix this? I have Windows XP SP2 with a Linksys WRT54GS router with 26-Character HEX WEP and my current SSID is MyAOLNumberWireless, but I think believe I had a different SSID back then which was MyAOLNumber. Any help I can get here? Thanks in advance, Stijn |

Hi Stijn,
I will have a look on the database to see what the current status of your AP is, will get back to you in a few hours. SSID changes don't affect Whisher, as APs are identified by MAC address, however, encryption mode changes should update the client and others who are authorized to access your network. Best regards, Mike
