Default Bad Wisher

Your application took over taskbar after I installed it and disabled my left clicks, the windows key on the keyboard, as well as the ability to start the windows task managed. Wheever I try to left click on my taskbar your application pops up. I close it, and try to left click it pops up again.

I canNOT exit the application, I canNOT uninstall it.

Trying to get the windows task managed to start via
  • Pressing CTRL+ALT+DELETE, and then click Task Manager.
  • Pressing CTRL+SHIFT+ESC.
  • Right-clicking an empty area of the taskbar, and then click Task Manager.
fails.

Your application has rendered my computer unusable. I am going to try to remove it in safe mod.

What is the logical thought behind such functionality in an application.

Hi,

It appears you installed the Windows XP version (clearly labeled in the Download button on our site) on Vista, and this is not supported. We will take steps to try and prevent users from installing the XP version on Vista systems, while we ready our Vista version.

Best regards,

Mike

I was able to uninstall it after booting into safe mode.

I installed Wisher on Win XP Pro SP2, with all updates.

Ok, in this case, can you let me know:

- Manufacturer and model of the laptop you installed it on.
- WiFi adapter used (internal or external, manufacturer and model).
- Are you using any WiFi manager other than Windows' own WZC (like Intel's manager, etc.)

Best regards, and sorry for your troubles, but it would be of great help to try to debug and get rid of them.

Mike
