Im trying to check this software out and see if its what im looking for.

But
i cant register an account...
i enter my desired username/email etc..( everything thats marked with an asterix )
then submit it and it comes back with the following error
"error.jabberRegistrationFailed.simple"

Is there some other way of gaining an account?

We're preparing to release a brand new, fully revised version of Whisher, with some things removed and others added. In the meantime (1 week or so) you will not be able to log in or create accounts - we posted in our blog about this, but an announcement will be made here too.
