I installed the latest version of Whisher for Mac on my fully updated 10.5.3 PowerMac G5 last night. I'm not sure if it is at all related to Whisher, but several hours after doing so (in the middle of the night) I woke up to my HP Printer printing pages and pages random strings of nonsense mixed with a lot of blank pages... then, the fans on the computer accelerated to an (unnatural) high speed. I shut everything off immediately. Once I started it up the next morning everything seemed to be back to normal.
Any thoughts? Thanks! |

Hi,
It's certainly a freakish experience, but almost totally sure unrelated to Whisher being installed. We don't interact with printers at all, and the fans spun up most likely due to the process that was printing the junk taking 100% CPU time. If it happens again and you can correlate it with the plugin, please save your console logs and send them to info@whisher.com. Best regards, Mike
